Photo and Pictures

Now, some tips for a good photo. It will not be the final and you are welcome to fill in with your own tips. It is important to just find your style and there is a long way. Mimic others for sure. Flickr is a great way to promote yourself to come out but it is not the best place for your best images.

1. Make motif-bearing – Let the message conveyed by the main object. Please use the Av-mode, so you will be freer in your interpretations.

2. Reflections from the water can provide precisely the abstraction that you search. Experiment with different abstractions. A boat through a reflection can provide the right vibrations.

3. Exposure Compensate your images to get proper exposure of the image. It is often that you need to adjust the exposure if you’re in Av mode. Read the manual to find where to exposure compensation. Please use the histogram to achieve a well-exposed images.

4. Check out your highlights, so that no picture will be overexposed somewhere. It’s easier to lift the shadowy parts than saving the brighter area.

5. Think about how light affects your image. A quiet background gives a calmer overall impression and a harmonious picture. It is always easier to blur the background than to compose a sharp image.

6. Image stabilization allows for a calmer picture and a calmer photographer. You can either have a camera with image stabilization in the house or a lens that bears the image stabilization. It is slightly more expensive to have it with the lens. Image stabilization can often give you more shutter speed.

7. To practice panning at a road gives you an easy way to train. It is great to master the technology but it is a difficult technique to master. Training with a fast shutter speed as you increase all the time while you try to keep the subject sharp.

8. Using the various flash curtains to get a creative image and clarify the movement in your image. This is again something you have to train on. Experiment and do like multi-exposures.

9. Rather use an odd number in your composition to get a smoother picture and an interesting motive
