Use selective correction through layer mask
Use selective sharpening through layer mask not to loose so much information. This might be applied to all corrections of some part of the picture that might be dangerous to the information of the picture as a whole. If you use layer masks creatively you might have a end product using jpg as good as the one´s that use Raw, but it might be time consuming. So use it only if the corrections are small and on some corrections. You have to choose your battles when photo editing.
