Make blackwhite and square format photo direct in your camera

I have been out with my Olympus E-PL1 camera and i set the cameras setting to a 6:6 format and making the photo blackwhite directly. The only editing i need to do then is just scaling and sharping the picture.

The end result is stunning and quite good doing so little for the picture. Your camera is there with you and you can take pictures without the husstle and to bring out the tank. My E-3 take nice pictures and i really can´t be without it.

The idea of the Pen camera is its lightweight and you really can do alot with it. I really like it taking alot of highquality pictures.

Btw i have decided to start a photo club here in vallentuna and you will see alot of more photos. I hope we have more foggy mornings here and there are alot i would like to catch on my sensor.

Taking pictures in the foggy morning

Making the most of the foggy morning getting my ass out and finally i am taking pictures. Photography has developed over the years i have been active. My site is climbing and getting more readers all over the planet.

All i want is getting some appreciation and learn people how to take pictures so they don´t do the same mistakes i did in the beginning. Composition are very important and we can learn taking a look at the old masters in Art.

We have to understand what we do is combining art, light and composition. We are trying to point something out to the watcher. What story are we telling for the viewer? What do you want him to experience?

Nature robes on the fall and nature photographer who I have so many reasons that I get dizzy. It is obviously important to get up early and catch the morning light . One of my favorite themes are fungi and are now popping up fruit bodies everywhere. Mushrooms often grow where it is dark and damp. You can think of to shoot with long periods of time so tripod is very important. Long periods of beds for pictures with sharpness and rich colors. However, you can find alternative ways to stabilize your camera. Today I used such as a cone and an arm when I took one of the pictures in order to stabilize the camera.

I am just moving in a new house and are not able to write or train anything. There isn´t any time to take any photo. We are living in a place full of cardboards and can’t think of anything else. The kids are new at daycare and i am there with them.

Its essential that you take photos and read the old articles cause they can give you much insight of photo. I will when i am in place write more about photo. Trying to explain the finer things about composition, photography and art. Finding it easier to you to understand the art.

In the mean time do go out and take photos and learn from your own mistakes and try to watch them carefully as you progress.

Local contrast or sharpening the whole photo

Local contrast is in a way sharpening the whole photo at the same time. You need to experiment with sharpening since it works different depending on which your resolution is. When you are sharpening your picture your darken it at the same time since what you do is blackening at the lines make it appear darker and having overall more contrast. I will appear more sharper to the eye.

You need to sharpen your picture since it is somewhat round from the start since the elements that capture the light is in deed round. If you are using a compact camera and you are moving to a DSLR your picture might look worse. This is because the compact might sharpen it in the camera and the DSLR give you the unsharpen truth.

Thus you got to know your editing as well as your photo skills improve. It is important that your editing skills also grow. Please note of this cause i seen many photos that could be better with some easy editing. You can learn the most basic people use to fail in.

Local contrast is actually sharpening only you have to change the radius so it sharpen the photo all over istead just where it finds edges. Use a radius about 40 with a websized photo and you get really stunning results. You may also try 30 or 50 an the end results is changing the image so you will not recognice it. Use this combined with layers and layer mask and you have a winner.

Using You Tube to show you how to use Gimp and Gegl. You will find Gegl useful and Monomixer one of them. Here you can easily turn your colour photo to a mono photo.

I am experience alot of change to You tube since i last use it and you are able to do much more than before. You can make tips and certainly add textig to your videos and much more.

The old masters lighting is going to improve your portraits

Study the lighting of the old masters like Rembrandt and others. The lightning is doing marvels to your portrait. Notice the shadows and where the light falls to make shade. How are the lightning making the face come to live and you relive the structure rather than just a portrait.

Try to imitate the masters and let your portraits have form rather than just another portrait. Let the form and structure guide you. Try to let the shade have form. Experiment with how you can play with shade in your portrait.

Reading and trying different things make your photo better

You learn more about your style and how you want your photo to become if you read amd try what others tried before you. Experimenting with light and the tool of your art the camera will make you a more complete photographer.

You will learn to see photo whereever you go and you will be aware of how things look. You will have tools and your knowledge about the camera will become your sword. Live photo and be photography for awhile. There will of course tume to rest but its important to breath photography.

Let the technique be your tool and the camera guide your photo and not the other way around. Steer your style to mean and let others enjoy your style.

Gmic with Gimp is doing magic to your photo and its essential that you know what the different filter do for your photo. Do play around with different filters and be sure that you know its applied to your photo using different layer modes.

Take care that you play around with different filters and settings to learn how to edit your photos right. You will certainly have fun and produce many lustful pictures on the way. Sometimes you get stuck at a certain filter and not knowing what it does but its worth it in the end.

Some pictures appear more like paintings, some as drawings and some looks like photos. It is your touch what they become in the end. You will learn more and understand why you got the different filters and how you can use them. Do not forget to use different layer modes on the changed picture sometimes the layer mode will change the whole picture how you use the filter.

Blurry may work your photo and be artistic

Blurry picture might be good for your photo. This photo is actually taken in Sweden with intentional bad focus. The picture is more like a painting.

Maybe this is a way to show people your bokeh. You also search for new angles and are on the way do some new experience. Photography you also get a new experience learning about your style. Explore a new world of photography.

I dont say this will be just your photo and you will understand more of it. You will come closer to your style. You will make photo on the way. As well you are playing around with aperture and shutter speed it is easy to forget focus.
