Nature Photography also requires planning

February 6th, 2010

nature photoEven in nature photo, it is important to think through and plan your photos. The challenge is to compose the picture right, but also pick out things that disturb the picture if possible. To photograph is not to reproduce reality exactly as much as it is painting with light. If you look at the pictures here do it a lot if I take away or add branches branches. These can create diagonals or be disruptive to the image. In this context, consider what you want with your image.

Many macro photographs of water droplets are hardly dew if you now how to apply it. Remove with a pipette and drip water where you want it. nature photographyIt is as much in the photo to create an illusion or create a reality that is better suited for the feeling you want to convey. If you are dripping water everywhere maybe realism is challenged and the picture loses its value. So if you are going to change anything, think about how the audience sees your picture.

Of course you can also use reflectors or other aids to help you make the right motif highlighted. Typically, it is simple the best and a good mind to create the best pictures. If you feel that the picture is cleaner if you delete or invest in something that does. Chainsaw, I think you should leave home and think about the right of public access, the Swedish “Allemansrätten”.
