Photo and Pictures

I am just moving in a new house and are not able to write or train anything. There isn´t any time to take any photo. We are living in a place full of cardboards and can’t think of anything else. The kids are new at daycare and i am there with them.

Its essential that you take photos and read the old articles cause they can give you much insight of photo. I will when i am in place write more about photo. Trying to explain the finer things about composition, photography and art. Finding it easier to you to understand the art.

In the mean time do go out and take photos and learn from your own mistakes and try to watch them carefully as you progress.

I am busy celebrating midsummer. This old barbarian custom of celebrating fecundity made christian thus the cross making us really a mixture of cultures. We surely are barbarians into the bones though we do have some civilian manners.

Photo and pictures will be a little less since i got less time to write it. I will be busy with my important family and moving. So don´t count on any new tips but do look into the history using our archives. You are surely finding alot there and some will just what you ordered.

Do take many pictures during these holidays and we will meet again when it is soon autumn. I will then have my desk and we should have moved into our new house. A new chapter in my life.

Wordpress 3.0 is here and it brings lots of features among it multiblogging. I have had thoughts to bring blogging to you so that you could have your own photo-blog on site. I think it would though take to much time administrate so i don´t think that is a feature for me.

Even so Wordpress 3.0 brings many new features and i will wait some until i update there are always bugs that must be corrected. I still recommend Ipernity if you want to blog and have your own gallery.

You can also go to the sistersite wordpress.com to see wordpress 3.0 in action. They will always try to be innovative and they always use their site to try the new stuff out. I hope you look for their terms because Wordpress.com is not the same as Wordpress.org.

I am really set up an course for us being interested in photo. The site will be an hobby of mine they have probably erased my posts by mistake but it seems that moving to another host is making more and more sense also being able to host my own movies having the size. Being able to upgrade wordpress automagical is very important to me and swedish hosts are much to slow for me.

This being a hobby of mine are thus making it more insecure. I will take backups by my own and having wordpress driving the site it probably make it more a target of hackers. I will continousle show you my pictures, test sites, test cameras if i have the lust for them and are able to.

The community will be there as a way to commute pictures and a way for me to show you my work that it is now. I also will continue my swedish community but that is only driven by interest like the rest. Its not a commercial site.

I have change Photo and pictures some and added random post to the frontal page. It is so you get a way to simply dive in the amount of posts that are being made and coming. I am translating some swedish posts and more are coming thus you can simply reach the old stuff that are hard to get to otherwise.

Do you have any suggestions to change you are welcome to suggest change in the comments. I sometimes might take up on your idea. I will though feel free to develop the magazine as i feel free to do. It is simply an hobby of mine growing into articles trying to articulate my thinking. Even so there is a community that are still growing and you are more than welcome to contribute.

There will be some odd changes. I am thinking of getting a better theme on the site. What do you think, should i stick to this simple theme or make it better?

Photo and Pictures, will be an online magazine with the intention to write about photo for amateurs. As it is now it is solely driven by me, Bengt Båvegård. I am myself an photo amateur who is editing an online magazine in Swedish, Bild och foto. There i also have courses who is lead by two professional photographers. My own profession is teacher and i have lots of experience in online teaching and e-learning in general.

The magazine will in time grow, but for now it will be me writing and i also will translate some old articles as i also will update to fit a more international audience. There will of course always be a swedish and nordic feel. My english isn’t that advanced, but i think i will become better and better in time.

If there is something you want to ask or correct feel free to do so. Please come med suggestions and critic. That way i have the possibility to improve. The more you fill in the better. The function for readers to comment i always thought was one of the most important in new media.
